Travel Stories

When I toured around New Zealand in 2005 it was not the intention to write about the trip but afterwards, going over the photos and diary, it occurred to me that this was the sort of travel story I would enjoy reading if someone else had done it so after much effort I finished my first travel book 31 Days in a Campervan. A couple of years later I set out on a trek from Grindelwald to Zermatt through the Swiss Alps; a journey that was not one of the popular long distance Alpine trails though one that aroused the interest of the people I mentioned it to in Switzerland and A Long Walk in the Alps was born.
